My personal torturer

by Mattias Ostling   Nov 27, 2011

My personal torturer
is what you are to me
You even have the audacity
to charge me a fee

You crush my chest
and ravage my breast
and I have to attest
you deprive me
of all my rest

Your fist around my heart
Your hand upon my throat
I visualize your smile
and I mumble your name
But all you do is maim
my bright burning Flame

Should I be glad?
or should I be sad?
All I know is this
what I really want
is a kiss

    I really enjoy this stanza:

    Should I be glad?
    or should I be sad?
    All I know is this
    what I really want
    is a kiss

The flow of the poem is also amazing, I love the rhyme schemes you have in some of the stanzas. Very well written 5/5

The ending is just sad yet sort of sweet. :-s
    Confusing.

But the whole poem is sad. I do understand why is categorize in the love section.
Because you are in love, it doesn't matter how bad that person treats you or how many times that person rejects you. You still in love.

    The beginning its powerful.

    "My personal torturer
is what you are to me
    you even have the audacity
    to charge me a fee."

I also see the some rhymes. The flow went great and your words just fitted right in the place.
