For all you've done

by AshAlyse   Nov 28, 2011

A hair raising scream,
A booming in her ears,
A sudden cause of pain
Which unwillingly brings tears.

Later, her eyes squeeze shut,
And there's nothing in her sight.
She feels safe in here,
Even in the dead of night.

Her mind escapes elsewhere,
Dancing out in fields,
It is brought back to the harshness of reality
When her innocence she yields.

Now there was only silence,
She could not hear anyone.
Breaking through her sanity,
She screamed 'this is for all you've done.'
