Cyber Boy

Cyber boy
Paper sphere this world of mine
Disconcerted with fire and ice
Flimsy fine the labels stuck
No expression on the face of mime
Once there was a boy , very very nice
He brought roses and wine, a smile of luck
But his energy was solar , spiced with lime
He loved to roam and roll the dice
On to her a heart he stuck.
She laughed and played like not the fool
Her days seemed endless joy, without slaving at school
Learning ever more, of love and how to adore
Her infatuation with this boy, became a dangerous toy.
Play and play she would
Play and play for all she could.
But never not once, did she give him a chance
She festered alone within her paper world
Cocooned within her fascination of ink
Her dreams filled with love and hearts a pink.
Cyber boy her heart you stole
Dark the cut upon the paper ,
black the hole.

This piece is very well written, I like the word play in particular. The rhyme scheme is awesome.

But his energy was solar , spiced with lime
He loved to roam and roll the dice

^ In my opinion, this part is exquisite.

In general the theme of the poem is about a girl being infatuated with a boy, impressed by his methods and being.

    Excellent Job.
