A life taken away...

With a heart barely beating,
you have come to my rescue,
gave me hope for life again,
I'm still in love with you.

There was no reason to smile
but you have entered once again,
giving me a reason to smile every day,
just having you as my best friend.

I walked around with my eyes down,
now I walk around standing proud,
I have been struck by a defibrillator,
rekindled love is what I have found.

I have been waiting for you for so long,
dreaming about you every night,
hoping that you would come back,
knowing that we could make it right.

But you are back in my life once again,
I'm the happiest person in the world.
I promise you that we will be forever
and you will be the most spoiled girl.

I turn around to look at you
but notice that you have left;
my heart has start to beat slower,
my life has been theft.

    I was like why did he put this on the sad section? This is one sweet and loving poem, that actually until I got to the last verse.
    You take the reader to such a warm and happy places, but then BOOM !! Everything goes different with the last verse. I have to say I like the twist at the end.

    Great job once again :)
