Empty My Mind

I wish, for once, I'd be like the wind
so I can go to places where I've never been
where ever it may be, I'd be far away
from a place where I can't stay

a heart-shaped home had me so cozy
then strong, secure arms had forgot to hold me
sometimes being the Pacific means you can be free
rather than dream about a happier you and me

my heart should've known we weren't going to last
and as I feel the crispness of the ocean of grass
I wonder if I'll ever love convivially once more
will I have the strength to reopen that door

the deep blue seems like the perfect place
to breathe in the fresh air that hits my face
or watch the sunset on the ground that's green
to empty my mind about a blissful you and me
