Living Here Without You

by Timothy   Dec 29, 2011

1st Verse:
I wake up in the morning, looking at the empty spot in the bed,
I rub my hand there, thinking of all that was unsaid;
Getting out of bed is never an easy task,
But it helps to take another swig from my flask.

Chorus:
I'm losing my mind, not a hard thing to do,
I'm in misery "living" here without you;
The days get shorter, and the nights get longer,
And it's only the whiskey that gets stronger,
It's a cold, cold life, "living" here without you.

2nd Verse:
I go to the bars, and then I go to church,
I can't find myself in this lurch;
Jumping at the sound of the phone,
It's clear I can't make it on my own.

Repeat Chorus:
I'm losing my mind, not a hard thing to do,
I'm in misery "living" here without you;
The days get shorter, and the nights get longer,
And it's only the whiskey that gets stronger,
It's a cold, cold life, "living" here without you.
