If You Want Me to Go, I'll Go

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Dec 30, 2011

The look on your face isn't excitement
I know you tried your best to hide it
but by the way you kept your hand on the door
made me realize that I was uninvited

would you mind meeting me on the avenue
so we can talk about me and you
or you could truthfully tell me that we're finished
as we walk to the waterfall, if you want to

either way, I want you to talk to me
I know your heart doesn't mean it
but giving me the silent treatment
hurts me so, and I won't let go
until you tell me that it's what you want
you got to close that open door
before you swing open one more
so what's it going to be

do you still love me ?
do you want me to share a life with you ?
cause if you don't want to
then I'll understand that we're through

I won't call you to ask for anything anymore
and you won't see me at your door
I'll go away if you really want me to
cause if you need me to,

then that's what I'll do
