Catch Me.

Fear stitches my lips shut
sealing my unspoken words

And you walk away
dragging your feet in disbelief

I stand still frozen in place
caught in the sensation of the fall

Hoping your arms will catch me
before I stumble down too far

But I emerge empty handed
cradling my bruised heart.

    Wow!! I've been there to afraid to speak the words I want, afraid i will lose them anyway but off they go

    A little error on the word 'emptily' I think you mean 'empty'
