Mirror

by Nobody   Feb 21, 2020

I’m staring
Into the eyes
Of a stranger

Her face seems
To transform
Into something ugly

Eyes are too large
Cheeks too round
Skin looks ruddy

Ugly, ugly, ugly
I pick apart her face
Body part by body part

Finding fault in everything
From the top of her head
To the soles of her feet

When I reach her toes
My voice has lost
All It’s spitefulness

My reflection looks back
Exhausted and beaten
Until my tears blur my vision
