Paul Very nice poem :) The message is beautiful and clear in your poem. A life cut short is always always sad...

I have two things that may and may not work for you..the first line reads

The paper was in my hand...
    ^^^

    With paper in hand,

sounds better to me and this line

    She never grows no more

    ^^^^

    She will never grow anymore,

Just my opinion and you know what they say about those lol

A beautiful dedication to someone whose past, but still alive in your heart.
    Nice write Mr Paul

You know this poem makes me really think of the people in my life that has passed away, especially when their lives were cut too short.

It is a beautiful poem and I loved that it came straight from the heart.

You mention that it is dedicated to anyone who has lost sombody but it makes me wonder... who did you lose? The poem felt so real... the emotions were so real.

    Well done

It is truly a hard thing, losing someone you love.
If only we could know with surety, faith aside.... that they happily live on.

a perfect pen of your emotions.

    God Bless

Awww this is such a heartfelt, touching poem. It saddened me, but really affected me.

I love the opening stanza, it was sweet I like that you were reminiscing the sweet memories!

The ending was sad, but real and honest...

    Amazing poem!

Wonderful and well penned poetic sadness of an irreplaceable loss, in well thought of words that touches our heart when someone we dearly love passses away.

This poem seems to speak of a little angel, whose life was cut short abruptly, speaks to sadness of immense proportions in a parents/siblings/friends heart.

She will never grow (old) anymore,
(nor) witness the fruits of her labor,
(or) understand her purpose on this earth

Some minor corrections as shown above may help project your thoughts a little better, perhaps.

    She (leaves) questions un-answered
but ('tis) one thing i know
    that she suffers no more

Dedicated to anybody who lost somebody...

A very touching tribute to an untimely loss, may it be a little sister, a daughter, or a friend.
