Being set free

Let us now part
from flesh and bone
our souls set free
our names in stone

Our heart beats still
our last tear falls free
thy chest raises once no more
no more our eyes see

Our lips sealed shut
thy words held tight
the mind closed off
no more shall we fight

Our last breath we breathe
my last step I take
our last song we hear
my last sin I make

    This reminds me of Romeo and Juliet. The last meeting before the death of a relationship..from start to finish I could hear a voice of sorrow..nicely penned.
