A Mask

by October Rain   Jan 13, 2012

A mask on the outside,
a sadness within...
a part of her hidden, or at least she tries...
a part of her aching and reaching for him...
his smile, his laugh, his cool blue eyes...
a mask on the outside...
while inside a part of her cries...
a piece of her fighting what is real...
a mask on the outside,
a sadness within...
she's trying to fight what she feels........

This is a really good piece of work. I can feel your emotions and I can relate to them as most of the times, I do honestly feel that I am wearing a mask whenever I am around him. Nice poem!
