SHE SCREAMS

She drowns her pain with poison and endless nights, but when the poison fades or the moon decides to hide, she is stuck back in this quicksand with no way out, she lives each day, her own thoughts suffocating her, stealing her breath away, it feels so heavy on her chest, she searches for something new to take her pain away, screaming silently in the night, her tears burn scars into her face that only she can see....
