Breathtaking - Maple Tree & Karla

by Karla   Jan 14, 2012

Emerald leaves shimmer
beneath golden rays of light
warm, soft breezes caress my soul
walking barefoot, mesmerized by trees of old.

Oaks whisper incantations
across dark magical moors
weeping willows enchant my tired eyes
binding me to life's sacred mysteries.

Acorn treasures falling, natures gentle rain
roots of our natures mother sings songs of peace
my eyes unlock a hidden prism of beauty
tree branches embrace me gently, "we are one"

Magic is here, it is a rainbow shaft of light
my being has no end, my self unfolds.
I bow to the wonder above wonder,
surrendering to the pulsating landscape.

    What an amazing poem.

The name of the poem certainly fits the poem itself. It is both beautiful and mesmerizing.

I could really imagine this gorgeous place and I felt so at ease reading each line.
