A Thought (TMTF: Part one)

Imagination
_____________________________________________
It seemed possible with a fairly tale alluded sight
A vision of a near future, with a simple might
She had become mine before the end of night
Took a deep pause and I was caught up with a fright

Slowly and disappointingly driving away from reality
A distant fragrant of Imagination becoming my rationality
A kiss with her under the skies to define our mortality
A love growing, refusing a slight thought of partiality

Seeing her beauty up in within the glimmering stars
A cynic distortion trying to separate us
Mentality in denial, that these are just images
entertaining the mind
Fairy tales living, intending to blind

A weak mind led into confusion, cuts like knife
A pinch from reality, a heart defrauded of its insanity
Realizing it was only just a blurry dream!!
It sets out on a quest to make one moment real!!

I really do love this poem... very deep and also very elegant... i was confused a bit as too your rhyme scheme... you had a certain pattern at the beginning.. but then it seem to break apart at the end.... never the less... it was a very pretty piece and I enjoyed the word usage... very nice ~
