Anthology B -Truths hidden in a bottle- ~Colab~ W/Derrick Merdy

Separated, the isolation proved to benefit me
Eyes served my purpose but even so I could barley see
I knew things hidden sealing the unnecessary
Now I cross those boundaries, seeking all I've lost
The city radiated brilliance this evening
Even the raindrops carried a world of color
Could it be that all I were afraid of was insufficient time?
I were not afraid of insufficient time...
At this moment the clock was not moving forward, but backwards
Time was tick toking me back to a previous memory (Moment, death)
I was nostalgic this were a feeling I were use too
The pale clouds don't shine like they use too
My everlasting ideals were only temporary i see that now
How things have changed, what we were promised
I want to see my visions past, one more time...
I held up My Whiskey and soda, the ice had melted
Tiny mysterious bubbles were floating up from its base
They were like the periods in my notebook, struggling
To emerge, to get to the surface of the water
the words themselves, however had left no vestige, no trace
All I remember today were
meaningless punctuation marks
useless things, old photos and wedding ring
the sacrifice, the patience, the dreams I kept having
I wanted to rid myself of my life but I was tied in
no longer could treat my feeble existence as if it were a whim
For life finally became important
