Nature

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Jan 16, 2012

2010.

Fall brings aridity of
Flora in my grove habitat
Rustle of leaves in the patch
Comes to an end like the equinox

Spring showers my spirit
With the sprinkles from the beyond
I'm spellbound as I bathe in drizzles
Unwinds moods that revolve within me

Thirsty, the heat dehydrates me
Summer grills my cuticle once supple
Sunny rays are conspicuous in the forlorn skies
I await the end of this blaze in the universe

As I freeze I find solace
In the arms of a hearth
That lodges sapiens in winter
I'm tender wrapped in hides, wool and fur
Snowballs and icebergs are a sight to behold up in the valley

The moon is embellished with crystal gem
Bedazzled, I glow as this work of nature
Flattered I feast in the ambience of the moonlight
Tales by the moonlight
An intriguing way to go down memory lane

Sky is the scaffold of enigma
The orbit of the beyond is decked with vivid imagery
"The sky is your limit", they say
I look up and envision myself with agile angels of the orb

I spot mountains and hills amidst the valley
As I stride through the aisle of flora
It's my dream to walk down the aisle in such tranquil aura
In such fringes, I nap and dine
With the artisan of natures finest

Thanks for the lovely comments. I'm glad.

Nature is the most natural medium in poetry writing. We're all blessed to appreciate its beauty but we hardly recognize its wonders in our life.

    Stay blessed.

Nature is one of my favorite themes for poems. Some seem to be a mix of words without emotion that nature deserves. I find this poem a mix of emotion for natures beauty, images that are bright and vibrant. Keep up the good work, excellent
