Waves of Love

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Jan 16, 2012

26th May, 2010.

When you talk to me
Saying I love you
Strong as the pungent booze
Aroma of wobbling cowboys

When you stare into me
Assuring me of
Sincere crimson ties
Forever we remain

When you walk with me
I feel like a heiress
Awaiting royalty
In this grand ecstatic love

When you sit by me
I feel at home
Among folks with shields
Of love against intruders

When you embrace me
Ambience is fenced
Like pita
Savouring secure love

When you carry me in your arms
I sleep like a new arrival
Tender and fragile
In colours of love

When you lie by my side
We are deeply engrossed
In a scorching episode
Produced by me

When you caress,
My soul yields to a soprano song
By the hummingbird
In the heart of mountains
Chirping a tale for two
