A time (TMTF: Part Three)

Time
_______________________________________________________________
A repetition of my heartfelt speech, a rerun
A broken heart weighs more than a ton!!
Yet she didn't think of us as one
Assured in her heart, her love I'll get none
And in her mind with me she was already done

Trying to move on yet finding comfort in her voice that resides
In an unrequited love, sadness attempts and provides
But thoughts of her, my happiness divides
Penetrated with disappointment, anger decides

A first attempt, to make time heal the pain
While standing indecisive under the rain
Tears down my cheeks, love doesn't gain
The break of dawn becomes so plain
Cause I'm so alone, my happiness in vain

Who ever said love never came without a price
Really had a well designed device
And never did enjoy the pleasures of falling in love twice
Shouldn't have taken that chance and followed that advice
Cause now I'm breaking down and finding joy in playing dice

Caught in the pleasures, time doesn't seem to be healing
Grasping on each and every sighs, I am kneeling
Concurrently being led away from my one and only true feeling
I didn't realise what giving up was stealing
Till I realized I was the dealer, holding wrongs cards, dealing

leap of fate, to take a second chance
Cause she was the one, a perfect romance
