God's Greatest Creation

by Love Sick   Jan 17, 2012

Human's, God's greatest creation
Full of intelligence, full of emotions
Superior than one, superior than all
Can make any race kneel, can force any creatures fall

They punish, they forgive, they laugh, they cry
But still no learnt lessons, no qualms . . . Why?
They think, they invent, they build, they dream
They are so desperate for success with the consequences unseen

This hunger for control, this greed for power
Has made them a liar, heartless and scarred
The only existing things are extorted supremacy
Only money gives them the eternal ecstasy

Those days are long gone
When happiness and humanity were everyone's songs
When God was was love and love was God
When all were one and one was all

The devils are here the angels are gone
They have brought upon a dark dawn
Soon crying for help we they will yelp and crawl
Soon God's greatest creation . . . will fall

I'm not sure i agree that we are the greatest creation. I think i'm not sure which means at least i have that. I believe there is a lot more to come and it might not be human,
BUT i do like your poem. I like the sentiments and the evident passion. It heartens me to read that people everywhere can see things in a similar fashion to my own outlook.
    Good poem!
