Another me

by jeffery sechrest   Jan 18, 2012

Sitting in silence,
hands folded in front.
sweat on my brow,
wondering if im prepared.
losing that feeling of self-doubt,
as you layed in my arms.
a refection of everything good in me,
staren back at me including your blue eyes.

- this is for my son so please no negitve comments-

This is very moving. And very visual. I could picture you sitting there and feel the tension and feeling of anxiousness. Congratulations on being a father :) Hope it's everything you wanted and more!

It's truly amazing how a child of your own flesh
and blood can catastrophically change your life.

After all... it is the meaning of life to have a family and experience in "love" exp that unique flavor of love, that only a child of your own, can bring.
