A BROKEN HEART

by Jena   Jan 21, 2012

Broken ties, misery, and sorrow.
Emotional feelings never heart so bad.
Secrets, lies, and a helpless tomorrow.
All I have tasted I could never have.
Before the darkness drowned out the light
I mailed you back the pieces of my broken heart
Hoping you can mend every single part.
Course I may not make it through the night
Wondering if you'll be there at all to hold me tight.
With all the pain that you have sent
I sat there feeling helpless in this abandonment.
And every hour I was left to ponder,
Could anything have been done?
Or was it destined to end this way since the day it begun.
