I wish

I wish I could fly like a Raven
A shadow of the day.

I wish I could swim like a fish
Away from all my pain.

I wish I could run like a Cheetah
So sorrow can never catch me.

I wish I could be me
In this big world.

But sorrow is overbearing
And I lose all hope.
Well at least for today
There is always tomorrow.
