You're my Lord

by Keeper of the Gates   Jan 27, 2012

I had experienced the cold.
The dark that never goes away.
Uncertainty of tomorrows.
The agony I learned to live with.
A hunger and thirst of my soul.

Till that day,
I met you.
You were looking for me.
I hid myself.
Yet you found my hiding place.

I did not believe you before.
They said you're not real.
Yet you're just indescribable.
Ancient, forever.
That's what you are.

You're the fire that burns.
You're the light in my storms.
You're my assurance of tomorrow.
You're the joy I always seek for.
Therefore I am yours, You're my God.

I think this is one of those poems that should be read daily, pinned to the frig in view of all that pass.
