Emotions

This feeling that I've got
Has got me twisted in a knot
can't take it today
won't stand it, no way

Because this mood that I'm in
is piercing through the skin
Won't let me go
the emotion must show

It won't let me be happy
it's making me feel crappy
Must let it take its course
I can feel its force

So I won't try to force it
must wait for these feelings to split
Or else it won't be true
then I'll have to say I'm through

So today I'll say oh well
and I'll go hide in my shell
Won't burden people with this
I'll let them fall to an abyss

Because tomorrow I'll feel new
a different outlook and view
I'll put these emotions behind me
then my head will be free
