Mom, please tell me why you chose drugs over me.

You left and now I don't know why, or what I did.

How does it feel mom, being alone having no one near?

Sleepless nights, buring eyes, soaked pillows filled with tears of a young girl who doesn't know why her mother chose drugs over her.

Mom you messed up my life, I can't smile, I feel nothing but sadness, I've cut so deep to heal this broken heart of mine.

You have shown me that drugs are a terrible thing and only break people apart.

I could tell how I felt but that's not enough, the scars on my wrist that i've hidden from you for so long will tell my story.

For you are the reason for this broken heart of mine, why'd I fall for all these lies?
