Blue

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Feb 7, 2012

2010.

I lay on the ocean afloat.
Alone I thought about lives
impeccable legacy of blue.
In still motion I envision it.

Peace envelopes me
in the valley,
as the colour of warmth;
blue smiles at me

It defines eternal bliss,
in passionate, scenic harmony.
Like swift angels,
invigorating my sixth sense

I compose myself in glee.
In abrupt spring I feel fear.
Comatose, I enjoy it.
In reverie I smile at this strange blue.

Unmindful of my objective,
It lurks in celestial presence.
The elf is in love,
assuring me of what l feel inside.

Honestly speaking, I find just putting sentences behind each other in a stanza is hard to make in a poem, but you have managed to make it beautiful.

Your level of language is high, and it just gives your talent props.. great.
