You've Turned Your Back On Me

by Miss Lonely Teacher   Feb 13, 2012

I've searched for you over half my life and now here you stand in front of me.
I tell you I've missed you and hold you close;
you smile and walk away, not a word to be said.
we used to mean so much to eachother, I miss how we were before.
do you blame me for what happened to you, blame me for not bing able to help?
Please, I beg you please talk to me I swear this time i'll be able to help!
I'm dying here, crying out my heart.
you are all I've ever asked for, no need for a lover,
I wanted only my best friend back; my dearest cousin.
I fall here on the floor; my heart shatters as you walk away.
everyone else has turned their back on me but I never thought that you would...

    Sometimes the ones who are close to us turn their back on us. That's life, something we have to learn to accept.
