Lonely

by Hollow Face   Feb 15, 2012

Lonely,

Lonely is the stars in the midnight sky, seeming so close, yet worlds apart.

Lonely is the tall, sturdy lighthouse calling for company in the raging storm, and chilling black night.

Lonely is the vast salty ocean, hoping that what it swallows will bring it warmth and love, climbing on shore in search for what will warm its chilling waters and calm its crashing waves.

Lonely is the small disfigured tree desperately trying to reach the welcoming sun, and emerge out of the dark cluster of trees that imprison it.

    Loved it!
But I'd recommend changing the title to the underlying meaning of it. Whilst lonely is a prefectly fitting title, I feel as if something more powerful would work better.

Still, great job and I really liked it.
