Captive Love

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Feb 17, 2012

2010.

I surrender to an external love,
as I'm fiercely in need of your love.
You take my breathe away,
as I envision my desires for you.

Imprisoned within your heart,
you're the felicity of my existence cupid.
My love for you is beyond belief,
hence I wait patiently.

Make our love be the conduit of adoration,
for this is the quintessence of our story.
I'm certain you'll dissolve in my mind,
and moments shared will be a trinket we'll use.

In great admiration of togetherness,
love saturates in hollow memories.
Shower me with the art of romance,
as I lavish in its lure.

Stir me to your grand planet of love,
and love me like I love you.
Feed me with care that I'll assimilate,
for with that I'll surely be certain of affection.

Till you declare me your beloved,
I stay in manacles for your mesmeric bliss.
Chained with massive yearn for you,
you're on a trial with a plaintiff.

I find this to be a great piece but it needs a few revisions. Not a big deal though on the revisions.
Just the i's need to be capitalize and a few typos.
Other than that, I like this piece.

Also there is a word that I think should be manacles rather than menacles.

I love that word :D I'm not sure why.

    And the last sentence

You are in trial with the plaintiff.
Awesome, Cupid is the lawyer or the judge sort of and you are the prisoner I guess. Or the defendant.
Its kind of like the author pleads guilty for for falling in love.
