Oh death where are you?

by Ole Carsten   Feb 18, 2012

Death where are you?

They are washing my body
Preparing me for the tomb
I am not ready for that
Oh, death where are you?

You took me away
Lead me into horrible things
Have the dagger ready
My revenge is fierce

Look at the tears
Is this your answer
Is this the way you mock me
Because no one loves you?

I fear you not
You are an inferior being
Not worthy of a life
That is why you steal ours

Let's hunt death
Give us the daggers
And the scythes
Then we will mock you

Oh death where are you?

Applause! Applause! I love your challenge to Death in this piece. With Death's grip on your heart, you can still look him in the face and say, "you will not have me!"
A fantastic write. Right down my alley.

Aside from death, it sounds like a death musical. So, it's great
