Killing slowly

by BarelyBreathing   Feb 21, 2012

She tried to push away the pain
but it whispered in her ear
t's cold silent breath run down her neck
begging
pleading
demanding for her to give in
How did this monster become so powerful?
Feeding on anger and envy
Sucking her soul dry of all meaning
She cannot scream
She cannot fight
She cannot fight an enemy which only lives within herself
But caused by everyone else
She takes the smooth blade
It calls her name like a poisonous lullaby
The contact with her skin makes her smile a hunger for that pain to spread
from her soul
to her skin
Creeping up slowly behind her
and stabbing her in the heart.
