Whenever I'm reading your miscellaneous poems, I'm expecting amazing ends, like this :) |

You did a very good job on this amazing piece. I wondered to whom this simply awesome poem is dedicated to. As the tune of the smooth flow got me into a ring of bliss. I kept reading to see the climax of the piece, i was surprised to see a simple word that just got me blushing on and on. Very creative of you dear. This is the piece on needs to unwind when down. Marvelous poem, blessings to you. ;). |

When I finished reading, I looked at my keyboard and wondered if ever I will be able to write anything like this on an object that I see and use everyday. Very creatuve write, even more beautiful is the imagination and the way you have penned it. :) |

Even though you posted this in the Miscellaneous section I read it as a love poem so when I got to the end and realised it was about a keybord I had to laugh so thank you for putting a smile on face. I love how you twisted the ending of the poem to take the reader by supprise and it goes to show poems are not always about the obvious. |

This one is a perfect example of an Allegory, a narrative story or poem with two meanings, one literal, the other symbolic (an extended metaphor). Titled "Escape", one initially wonders what is the author's real meaning behind the odd looking title to a poem about a keyboard. A little pondering later, and you know she literally means "a near miss". A poem written humorously, personifying the writer's keyboard, it carries a dual symbolism, much deeper, the way I interpret it. Here goes my symbolic interpretation laced with equal humor, from my infinite not knowingness: |
