Unforgettable

by Poet on the Piano   Mar 3, 2012

I wish you could walk with me now
but you are cities away
and I hear the storms
fluster my calmness, how many lights
are putting you dryly to sleep
or reminding it's not where you know love.
I want to wander out to you
but I am so far from my mind....
I fear you would call -this-
impossible.

And you ask me,
what would I do if I didn't have you?
As if I could possibly forget
how deeply you have my heart
and still pursue
his.

I hope it will be too late
for you to let me go.
