The Mask She Wears

by Rachel   Jun 26, 2004

It’s all been one huge lie but she let her mask blur her vision
Her mask distorted the images until she saw what she wanted to be real
Try as she would there were always constant reminders
That what she wanted couldn’t be
Facing the reality that she has caused more then she has fixed
All because of this one white lie that grew and grew
Until she couldn’t turn back
The mask is stuck
She cant get it off
Someone help her
No ones coming to her rescue now
So much pain she ha caused
And that mask she wears
Has forced her friend to create a veil of her own
She will not longer know of what is real

But I wont let my mask blur my vision or distort they way I see things but rather how others see me and what they know to be real
