In Silence

by AleshiaNoel   Mar 7, 2012

She loved him,
She'd swore it true.
But that was before,
She met you.

They'd been fighting,
They werent alright.
She began to wonder,
"Would we last another night?"

As the tears fell down,
She picked up the phone.
The one person she wanted to call,
Was waiting at home.

They were childhood friends,
Always that will be so.
He'd loved her so long,
He's always known.

So when she cried to him,
It broke his heart.
He wanted to find the man,
And rip him apart.

She hated that jerk,
For leaving her.
What had she done,
To deserve this hurt?

It beat him up,
He was no more.
She'd moved on again,
That was for sure.

She'd been hurt badly,
She took her own life!
It's sad i know,
But so was the strife.

He cried,
And cried,
And cried some more.

He followed in suit,
To be with her.
They were happy,
Togther and safe.
Up above,
In a prettier place.

I loved this poem, especially the last stanza. It was sad and sweet at the same time. Great work!
