My Last Squat

by Anna Stephens   Mar 9, 2012

Bend the knees, lower the butt
To pick up that penny, the only thought

Searing pain, the hammies cry
Ankles buckle, about to die!

Beseeching God to ease the pain
Getting vertical too much a strain

Topple backward, fall on the ass
Someone just called a crane...at last!
