Smiles in a frame

by DirtRoadGirl   Mar 10, 2012

Tears fill my eyes,
and I cry out your name.
I'm hiding behind lies,
just smiles in a frame.

Pain breaks through my heart,
and I sink to the floor.
I am falling apart,
and I can't pretend anymore.

I am not supposed to miss you,
or want you here with me.
I'm not supposed to wonder what you're up to,
or wish you'd finally see.

I fought so hard,
to make you stay.
I held my gaurd,
but my hopes were forced away.

I want so badly,
to tell you what you mean to me,
but our story ends so badley,
and from these feelings I will not be free.

I love you more then anything,
but its my secret I must keep.
I crave to be your something,
finding it only in my sleep.

Pain breaks through my heart,
and I sink to the floor.
I am falling apart,
and I can't pretend anymore.

Tears fill my eyes,
and I cry out your name.
I'm hiding behind lies,
just smiles in a frame.

    "I'm hiding behind lies,

I like this part mostly, you don't want to reminisce sad moments in the future nor spread it even though you hurt now.

    Keep up good work !
