Sullen Eyes

by Mello193   Mar 13, 2012

To thee thine sullen eyes
mistaken in your guise
to see what underlies
I invoke this cripple heart
enchanted in unholy deal
for her thy heart id steal
her soul now born-less in thine art
where two heart left alone unfettered
finding truth unashamed and bettered
fervent to our very soul
embraced two lovers whole
desire seething from torment
is such an unbridled joy
for thee two lovers meant
should never be destroyed
emptiness lays deathly in deprivation
as sweet as blood stained carnations
to the thine sullen eyes
tethered to thy grace
my heart it sighs
each time i see your face

I specially liked your initiating address-"To thee thine sullen eyes".
Well tuned rhyme, each line sculpted with diligence, revealed with deep emotions and expressions.A degree write!
    Appreciated !
