My Thirst for Nature

by Maple Tree   Mar 18, 2012

Since the dawning
of my agile birth,
sunshine kissed my soul.

Within time,
I grew along with
flowers and trees.

We are one,
as a spirited dove
or sharpness of an owl.

I become the wind,
soaring high as the gentle
breezes dazzle my lips.

Tasting soil, as I dance
upon mud puddles,
addicted to words of the trees.

I desire to be intoxicated
within natures loving grace
until the very day I die....
