I'm just saying

by eugene yeboah   Mar 28, 2012

Hey, I'm just saying, minds degenerating, civic parlay solves nothing
so who are they playing. We kill one and other over trivial matters,
kept blissful, made docile, like we were mere cattle, fattened then
washed, none safe from the slaughter, avarice blights all whether
wife, son or daughter. The middle class is sinking, steadily
shrinking, while the rich get smaller, control flow of thinking. Can't
trust the police, weak-minded coppers, harass victimized paupers,
while free goes the robbers. Hustlers and bangers ain't shit to me,
it's the ones with obscene wealth, they are truly deadly. They care
not for the costs, or your thoughts, they are boss, so called men of
god, even they get to floss. Peep the scene, it's the green, don't you
see, rampant greed, tearing apart families, for perversion of needs.
Trained to comply, follow blind, stay in line, one opens their eyes,
comes to loathe mankind. A part of you dies, but the price must be
paid, if you seek an escape, from the shadows of cave. If you break
chains and flee, gaze up at the sun, yet back in the cave remains
everyone, though you'll want to save all, pleas fall on deaf ears,
familiarity comforts, for change is the fear. Those who spoke up, saw
lives put to shame, hated by those they attempted to save, in our
decaying world, the rule is behave, speak out, challenge order, your
put in the grave. Tis my nihilist ode to humanity's ills, and when
crap hits the fan we'll all have to sit still. And with no pun
intended, you can't talk no ish, did not care to question, the beds
made so lie in it. Can't whine, sob or hate, sought answers to late,
now the die has been cast, succumb to your fate. Man is purged from
existence, his being decaying, all by his own hand, but hey I'm just
saying.
