I say goodbye

"Goodbye." I cried, leaving you alone.
My heart shattered in pieces by the knowledge you love another.
Farwell forever!
Despair decide to add.
I had gave you my heart.
In return you plunged a knife into it.
On that cold stormy night.
When I picked up the phone and those words
left my friends lips.
Each one torn off a part of the heart that once thrived.
"He' seeing another."
I didn't believe at first.
My worst nightmare come true.
But you confirmed my fear once I had asked.
And now I have left you.
Heartbroken and hurt.
With the only hope I will find another
To love and to be loved by.
For these relationships never last.
I still wonder why I go through them.
But it's always worth with in the end.
