Tick tock tick tock

by kathy triplett   Apr 11, 2012

The clock keeps ticking I am growing too late,
My mind is continuously being fogged,
I am stuck between my wants and my reality,
My world is filled with monsters and goblins,
It's a fairytale no one wants to live,
I run toward that white picked fence I see in the distance,
But like a rainbow I can run but won't be able to reach,
My dreams have been stopped put to a halt if you will,
Replaced by drugs, jail, children and loneliness,
My clock is ticking and I grow afraid of when it will stop
