Happiness

by Nathan Bosworth   Apr 16, 2012

When is it over? When do I get to feel what they feel?
Nobody can answer that. They're too busy feeling what I want to feel.
Happiness is all I ask for. Happiness for a day... An hour, is all I need.
They say to let go of the past. The past is what I live in and always will be for me.
All along I thought I was feeling happiness. Happiness isn't real, it's make believe.
Bury me in the ground, let me see the other side. Maybe I'll find what I'm looking for there.
The pain I feel is more than real, it is MY reality.
It's time to go. Time to say goodbye and let go.
