Your Smiling Face

by Yahnes   Apr 20, 2012

Life's drama has been a usual show
I touch my book, lay my rest & tomorrow is a stereotype flow
Hello was just an ordinary word
Goodbye was a tiresome greeting from such a hectic mood

Emotions seem numb to feel no more
Heart seems empty while looking outside the door
I sat...thoughts searching for a simple glee
When a sudden tap on the shoulder surprise solemnity

I absently look up & saw that smiling face
A word of amaze apology summon my shock at ease
But with the funny eyes you look the other way
Teasing all over & the heart is in a gay

Was it I thought at the second glance you'll allure me to stare
With that smiling face I lay my feelings bare
Just as then I never did realize in my sleeping thoughts
I'm slowly falling...in your little funny way I was caught
