I failed you..

by Rebecca Bentley   Apr 20, 2012

I cannot help but question,
The wisdom of gods love.
Why would he do this to us,
Send our baby up above.

So many poinent questions,
All we can do is ask.
We will never get an answer though,
Life seems such a task.

I ask for your forgiveness,
If I ever did you wrong.
You left our lives far to soon,
We didn't have you long.

I dream about your smile,
And about your diamond eyes.
The memories are all we have,
To make our lives worthwhile.

I cannot help but feel,
That I failed you as a mum.
All I wanted was the best for you,
My darling little one.

Your eyes were like a million stars,
They never got to shine.
Your smile resembled an angels,
Maybe theres a reason why you fly.

I take every opportunity,
To ask for one more wish.
Just to hold you close,
And kiss your little face.

All the things that I can't have,
Are things that mothers do.
So am I still a mother,
Even though I'm not with you.

Missing you more than ever, mummys little angel <3

I was so sympathetic with the poem Rebecca. But need a little explanation of:
    Your smile resembled and angels,
Maybe theres a reason why you fly
for the word 'and' because I thought it is 'an'
    Am I right?

Excesses are checked through some pain. The best is meant to come at last. At the fullness of time, God gives..
