..and I'm sure we are all very pleased that you did!
This is a lovely poem, I like the line
    'Taking body and mind,
    it consumes, yet sets free.
    As two spirits soar above
    ..................to eternity.

Love does consume AND set one free just as you have written in these immortal words.
    Well done, A great write!

It is a lovely love poem and one that rings true. We don't always get to plan the good things in life, God takes care of that for us.

Well, I'm glad you submitted this^^
    It is beautifully-written.
"But when it does a chord is struck
between a woman and a man."
---I'm quite fond of these lines though they are simple. In the first line, it would be better if a comma was placed after 'does', so the reader would pause, and read with a better flow. The second line, I read it out loud and found it euphonious lol. It's quite rare for me to find a poem with the woman stated first.
Overall, a lovely write. Keep writing :)

How true and beautiful! Love does not just happen and when it does it goes through great length to keep it alive...from start to end each verse had vivid imagery and it left me with a smile...loved the read :)

    Hello Olwin

Saw you online and thought I would say hello by commenting on one of your lovely poems.

This is lovely and is a true testament to the power love has sometimes. It doesn't always turn out this way, but when it does.....:)

Super write and all the best,
    Ben
