Ice That Shakens

Forever Mislaid Lovers Part II

On the eve of alluring depth
calls to me like a fragrant ghost
a tortured soul in years have wept
for the loss of whats precious most
and she came to me like a devoid trinket
as the scent of her own perfume
my life would find me only to resume
our love it seems, was nowhere to find
alone in my mind
still she sat and lay in dirt
i longed to relive all this hurt
what should come of souls that sin
the answer was carved in skin
she would find her lover still, never to forget her thrill
for each the days we'd love
the dark lord had taken her above
was more than bargained by my debt

i sit alone and awakened
by the shadows on the wall
under the ice that shakens
would hear my lover's call
rattled the very core of my fire
was the ghost of my lover and liar
that was buried in earth forevermore
now was to compel my desire
to abate my happiness nevermore
this ice should chill my cripple spine
to find this lover mine
and in time she should weep
as my blood would seep
we parted ways
for one last time
until the time we meet
in heavy-hearted days
this loneliness mine
wait the day the reaper to meet

the death had came and went to days
alone without a soul
a man without a heart to love
cannot recall the ways
we can never again be whole
her corpse now lie under ash and dirt
sicks feet down forever more
as i long to free her hurt
my unearthly calling adore

she was fair as fragrant roses
in the bouquet of truth
and what of this ill will imposes
that would steal her very youth

For some odd reason, I was thinking Romeo and Juliette. Tragic came to my mind. I really enjoyed what you came up with. I was not expecting to see the ice tht shakens within this piece but it worked perfectly. I found that really creative.
