Soul Respit

by Richie   May 3, 2012

I'm drowning my sorrows from the years
As they encompass all my fears,
I can't escape this place I'm in
O please come help I cannot win

The Snakes of Betrayal
Burn on my skin
And revenge by fire
O pleas come, help it's all it desires

I'm trapped in my soul
And it's out of control
It wants to destroy me
O please come help, I cannot be free

I yearn for the light
I pray for respite
But my soul has thrown me deep within
O please come help, where do I begin

I can't escape this place I'm in
My soul destroyed me, I cannot win.

Loved the expression of the poem. It is one of the nicest emotions of all the poems I've read.
I think it is very good! 4/5
