My Khal

by Lofallenve   May 3, 2012

The golden brilliance in the sky,
graces us with it's presence, smiling.
As if always meant for you, it gives you a halo,
a resplendent crown, one fit for a king--my Khal.
The kingdom in which your reign falls over,
Is not that off physical locations, towns or villages.
Nor do you have the peasants bowing down to you,
A group of knights ready to bear arms to protect you;
Your rule is over that of mine own heart--my khal,
Your kingdom is made up of mine own physical body,
Down up on my knees, bowing to you, I am yours.
I'd pick up the sword, and arm myself with the shield.
You are my Khal, I have dedicated my life to you,
My fealty, I have sworn to you, no other shall have me.
No other shall take your place as my Khal.
My heart deserves not my own hand, but my Khal to rule over it.
All that I am, all that I am to be, everything that surrounds me, is yours.
Khal of my heart, my Sun and my Stars, my love for you is forever and always.

(Khal is from Game of Thrones, meaning "King")
